Derrick ‘Geezer’ Bettis

One of the original members from the first 'Railway meeting'. Despite giving most of us 'a few years' Derrick was the third most consistent attendee in 2005 and second in 2006 and 2007. His attendance over the last couple of years has been less impressive but hopefully he’ll attend more in 2012.

Uses a Bickerstaffe Bow along with tapered arrows, which allows him to compete, even on the longer distances with the 'young stags'.

Always enjoys a good argument with whoever is conducting the scoring.

Derrick is not a man to 'cheat' of a point for the sake of an inch on the measuring tape!
